first of five novella books released on the A Funny Thing Happened series from

I’m Not Perfect is a complete self-contain
mini-novel about an exceptionally intelligent senior college student who on her
first and only spring break experience a funny thing happened to her. The
morning after her first time drinking alcohol she wakes up married. The
unbelievable begins from the moment she opens her eyes and the ridiculous takes
over once she realized how much of a fish out of water she truly is.
Now she has to deal
with finding herself married to a handsome, wealthy, and clearly blind husband
who must have lost his mind. Not only that, he has no interest in looking for
it or willing to give her a divorce. With the gift of low self-esteem issues
that are constantly given to her by her mother, who is pulling out all the
stops to end her marriage, new in-laws being who they truly are for everyone to
see, and finding out she is truly special, what could possibly go wrong? Calling
both their parents horrible people would be a compliment that they would
happily accept. This is the first of five totally
different directions all beginning from the same starting point and that is; A Funny
Thing Happened.
